When it comes to the Sensor, the name says it all: it is the most sensitive shoe in Red Chili's range and has been specially developed for climbing and bouldering on artificial holds as well as for competitions. The combination of a minimalistic midsole, high asymmetry, and a powerful downturn makes the Sensor a highly sensitive and performance-oriented climbing shoe. An innovative system with a double slingshot prevents the pre-tensioning from waning over time. The Vibram XS Grip sole and a large toe patch provide outstanding grip exactly where it is needed. And that is not the only thing that is special about the sole: we have also varied the thickness from 1 to 4 mm to aid sensitivity—with lots of rubber where you need it and less where a good sense of feel is key. Thanks to the somewhat narrower, performance-oriented cut, the Sensor fits the foot snuggly.
